Rid streets of paedophile monsters

Published:Wednesday | October 24, 2018 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

It may seem like the voices of our children are going unheard to the relevant authorities. Have we become so heartless that our children are disappearing daily and being killed every other day and we act as if nothing is going on?

We are in a state of hopelessness where the hearts of men wax cold towards each other. We should look to preserve the lives of our children because they are the future of Jamaica. We should not be destroying them.

It is hard to watch the news or go on social media nowadays. If it's not a weeping mother, sister or father asking the whereabouts of their missing loved one, it's a friend giving out contact information regarding a missing child.

How long will we let this continue? How long will parents have to cry? How long will the voices of our little ones continue to go unheard because nothing has been put in place to protect them from paedophiles?
