Excellent customer service at Mr Breakfast

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Excellent customer service never goes unnoticed or unappreciated in my book. To this end, I feel compelled to laud the exceptional attention extended to me and my friend Marcia on our first trip to Mr Breakfast, located along Holborn Road, Kingston 10, two weeks ago.

The eatery was recommended by a mutual friend of ours who works in the New Kingston business district. Given her stamp of approval, we decided to meet for a morning meal there. It was absolutely worth the trip and our time.

Behind Mr Breakfast's counter was Crystal. Her welcome warmth and easy, genuine disposition was a breath of fresh air that's sadly missing from many restaurants in Jamaica.

Our server, Kerry, was exceedingly polite and attentive, which we were most appreciative of and made our al fresco dining experience that more pleasant. When Marcia expressed dissatisfaction with her ice coffee order, Crystal herself ventured to the kitchen to fix the beverage, which came back much improved.

And the 'Double Up' order we made - pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs - paired with magnificently brewed Blue Mountain coffee, hit the spot, satisfying our morning palate.

So impressed both Marcia and I were with the customer service and offerings, we've since returned to the eatery twice and will, no doubt, be making multiple visits in the near future.

Big up yourself, Mr Breakfast! You have a new-found, faithful customer in me.
