NIDS ad gone to the dogs
THE EDITOR, Sir:
We refer to the advertisement on the new National Identification System (NIDS), in which the eldest of three men refers to the others as "dog". We find it to be very distasteful and wrongly supportive of the derogatory language common among our nation's youth.
In fostering good discipline and mannerism as a government institution, it is imperative that this advertisement be edited in the best interest of promoting good values among our youth.
We anticipate your urgent and positive response.
