We didn’t see it that way, Rev Dick
THE EDITOR, Sir:
An article which appeared in the February 16, 2019 edition of this newspaper, ‘No Love for the dead’, written by Rev. Devon Dick, in which he criticised the University of the West Indies (UWI) for publishing information that the body found on the property of the UWI was not that of a member of staff or a student of that institution, charging that the institution was being callous, is not seen in that manner as Rev. Dick stated.
I do not understand why Rev Devon Dick came to that conclusion, but the statement by the UWI that the body found on their property was not that of a member of staff or that of a student did calm the fear in a number of us who have children and other relatives living on the UWI campus.
