Abortion and population replacement issue

Published:Friday | June 7, 2019 | 12:31 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I am aware that if/when abortion is legalised in Jamaica, not many fertile women (if any) would be rushing to have one as if it is ‘cook food’. Nonetheless, has anyone in the know given thought to the population-replacement issue, should abortion eventually become more popular than giving birth, as allegedly happened in a few so-called First-World countries years ago?

Just wondering!
