Twinning of schools welcome strategy
THE EDITOR, Sir:
The Government is embarking on the twinning of schools to secure the welfare of weaker institutions by empowering them.
The twinning of Ardenne High and Haile Selassie High is a welcome move. We should always try to get the less productive schools on par with high performers.
Schools must buy into this thrust. The Government should also explore cross-border collaborations with high schools in First-World countries. School like Tarrant High School, for example, could work with another school in the USA.
