You missed the point, Gordon Robinson

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I refer to Gordon Robinson’s column in t he Gleaner dated September 10, 2019. I could not finish reading his contribution because he has missed the main factor that all well-thinking Jamaicans are concerned about. Is Dr Peter Phillips a viable contender for prime minister? Will the people of Jamaica ever rally around him to help put him in Jamaica House? I will start with me. .. NO.

Gordon Robinson seems to be caught up with “I told you so” and egg in Mr Bunting’s face. This is hogwash and immaturity on his part. Your time would have been better spent analysing the result and accepting that the People’s National Party (PNP) needs to do some major work to become a viable and fully functional political party again.

Total nonsense, Gordon Robinson.

I am not a PNP or Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) supporter, but I have voted for them on different occasions. I need good options because I have the power as a voter to change things. PNP is not an option at this time and JLP is disappointing, so I have no one to cast vote for.
