What happens to critically ill COVID-19 patients?

Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Christopher Tufton, Chief Medical Officer Dr Jacquiline Bisasor-McKenzie, and the health team have been giving us some remarkable updates on COVID-19, which threatens to wipe out half the world’s population, God forbid. I believe they are doing a good job.

But I keep asking the questions: are there any survivors from those who become critically ill from this merciless virus? And when a person becomes critically ill, is it the end of life for him or her, or is there hope of turning around from that critical condition?

We always get an update on the number of persons who are ill, moderately ill and critically ill, as well as the number of deaths. But I would like them to take it further and give us an update on what happens to persons who become critically ill from the coronavirus.
