Five signs you might be depressed
On a daily basis, many of us may have moments when we feel sad, or overwhelmed.
However, when we tend to feel this way over an extended period of time, it might be a bit more than a stressful day — we maybe suffering from depression.
Depression is severe mood disorder that affects how we feel, think and behave — and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.
According to Associate Clinical Psychologist Justine East, here are five signs that you might be suffering from depression:
1. You feel tired or experience a loss of energy.
2. Difficulty thinking, concentrating, and making decisions.
3. Feeling unimportant
4. Common thoughts of death
5. Regular thoughts about committing suicide, or attempting to commit suicide.
