NCU to honour three

CONGRESSWOMAN YVETTE D. Clarke, Representative for New York's 9th Congressional District in the United States; and Antony Keith Edmund 'Tony' Hart, chairman of the Hart Group of Companies, will be conferred with honorary degrees by Northern Caribbean University (NCU) on Sunday at the institution's main campus in Mandeville, Manchester.

During its graduation exercise, NCU will confer the prestigious Doctor of Public Service, honoris causa, on Clarke who will deliver the first commencement address. At 2 p.m., the second commencement speaker, Hart, will be bestowed with the distinguished Doctor of Commerce, honoris causa. Additionally, retired ministers of religion, Cecil Roy Perry and William A. Kirlew, will receive Honorary Doctor of Religion and Theology degrees.
