The St James police are on the hunt for a man who escaped from the Montego Bay police lock-up yesterday.

The escapee is 21-year-old Fahdean Ferguson, otherwise known as ‘Tussain and Joshua’, a mechanic of Hampton, Spring Mount in St James. He has been in custody since May 25 on charges of housebreaking and burglary.

Ferguson is of dark complexion, medium build and is about five feet, eight inches tall. He also has tear drops tattooed below his right eye and scars over both eyes.

The police say about 8:45 yesterday evening, Ferguson was transported from the Barnett Street police station to participate in a video identification parade. He was waiting in the holding area to be transported from the Barnett Street police station to participate in a video identification parade. He was waiting in the holding area to be transported back to that facility when he allegedly escaped through an unlocked window.

Ferguson was last seen wearing a white merino and a pair of pink shorts.

The police says anyone knowing the whereabouts of Fahdean Ferguson is being asked to contact the Montego Bay police at 953-6191 or 684-9080-5, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.

They say harbouring fugitives is a crime and anyone found guilty will face the full consequences under the law.
