UPDATE: Konshens in good health after attack by producer

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Dancehall artiste Konshens is said to be in good health after he was attacked early this morning, allegedly by a music producer.




The incident happened at Mojito Mondays on Southdale Plaza near Half-Way Tree in St Andrew sometime after 1 o'clock.



According to his road manager, Miguel Noble, the artiste sought medical attention at the Andrews Memorial Hospital, located on Hope Road as a precaution.



Noble further stated that the artiste received stitches to a small wound that was inflicted to his forehead by a sharp object.



Meanwhile, the road manager has denied reports that the incident involved the use of a gun.



It is not known what caused the altercation.
