Boo at the Zoo is back

The original creatures of the night will be on show at this year's Boo at the Zoo, Hope Zoo Kingston's unique spin on Halloween observations. It will be all trick and treat for the children, a pleasant way for families with young children to enjoy the night in a safe environment.

Starting at 5 p.m. this evening and continuing till you say when, you can don costumes and take your bag and flashlight to the wildest Halloween event in town. Activities include haunted house, mummy wrap race, rock climbing, bounce-about, prizes and surprises and much more.

According to Debra Griffiths, public relations and marketing assistant at Guardsman Group, persons have been anticipating the second staging of the event since its inaugural staging last year. "We have more sponsors this year and we are anticipating repeat patrons in addition to new ones. It is a family event and entertainment will be provided for everyone," Griffiths said.

Presold tickets for $1,200 are available at Fontana Pharmacy-Barbican, Baby Bop, Candy Craze and at the Hope Zoo. Tickets will also be available at the event for $1,500. For further information, call 927-1085, 348-1196 or 978-5760 or email bookings@hopezookingston.
