PHOTOS: Jamaica wins five World Travel Awards

Jamaica has won five World Travel Awards.



The country won the Caribbean’s Leading Destination 2014 and the Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board 2014.



In the cruise category, Jamaica copped three more awards: the Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination 2014, the Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Port 2014 for Ocho Rios and the Caribbean’s Leading Heritage Attraction 2014 for Falmouth.



“These accolades are the result of the untiring work of all our partners and stakeholders. I am extremely proud of the work we continue to do, keeping Destination Jamaica on par with the rest of the world,” said Tourism Director, Paul Pennicook.
