JAMAICA COLLEGE (JC) parents last week lauded the work of the parent-teacher body under the leadership of Collin Greenland.

They praised his leadership, which saw the successful implementation of several projects that benefited all stakeholders, including students.

Speaking at the November 10 annual general meeting of the parent teacher association (PTA), Greenland pointed to the clearing of debts, successful partnerships with corporate Jamaica, and the old boys' associations as pluses during his four-year term. He also pointed to the successful resolution of disputes, greater efficiency of the PTA Shoppe, and welfare support to students as other major achievements during his administration.

Greenland did not seek re-election. Parents elected a new executive which includes Betty Ashley, Errol Holmes, Jacqueline Robotham, and Keron Mais. Garfield Grandison and JC principal Ruel Reid are also members of the new executive.
