THERE HAS been still no sign of four-year-old Samunya Bloomfield, who has been missing for the past 25 weeks since her mysterious disappearance from her Old Harbour, St Catherine, home on June 20, before midnight.

When contacted yesterday, Kris-Nieve Bloomfield, Samunya's father, said he has not received any information from the police on his missing daughter for the past four months.

"I am still searching because she is my daughter, but the police refuse to answer our calls," said Bloomfield.

"We have been calling them for the past four months now and nothing. The last thing we heard in July was that they are working on the case," he noted.

A confused Bloomfield said he would like to know why the police haven't informed the family about the proceedings of the case.

When contacted yesterday, the police told The Gleaner that the case was still being worked on.
