Businessman Corey Todd shot and injured in apparent hit, say police

WESTERN BUREAU:

Police are theorising that the attempted murder of Corey Todd, operator of the Taboo night club in Montego Bay may have been a hit.




Todd also operates Taboo in New Kingston.



Todd, was closing his club at about 5 a.m., when two men on a motorcycle fired shots at him, hitting him in the right hand.



A policeman who was at the location responded by firing at the gunmen, one of them was hit. He died on the spot.



The police recovered a firearm on the scene.



Todd is reportedly is undergoing surgery.
