KINGSTON, Jamaica:

A mother this morning told the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry that she has not seen her son since the police-military operations in Tivoli Gardens in 2010.

Dawn Brown testified that a relative told her that her 16-year-old son Dale Davis was taken from their Tivoli Gardens home by soldiers.

Brown said a representative of the Independent Commission of Investigations accompanied her to the Government Forensic Laboratory where she was told that the Tivoli Gardens High School student was killed.

However, she said a search of several government agencies has turned up no trace of Davis.

Brown testified that her son was a good child and that he went to live in Tivoli Gardens so he could take care of his grand-aunt, who had diabetes and other illnesses.
