Security guard killed in Flankers crash

W‎ESTERN BUREAU:

A security guard is the latest victim of a motor vehicle crash on the Flankers Main Road near Montego Bay in St James.




Kevin Berry, 39, died after his car crashed into a pylon supporting a stop light.



It is reported that Berry crashed after he swerved to avoid colliding into another vehicle.



Berry lived in Providence Heights, St James - fewer than three miles from the scene of the accident.



His body was still pinned in the vehicle at 10 a.m.



A large crowd of curious onlookers is now gathered at the scene.



The Flankers main road, which links Falmouth to Montego Bay is a major accident hot spot.
