Dr Ramsay is a senior lecturer and head of the modern languages department and Dr Byron is a senior lecturer and former head of the gepartment of Government. The award is given for distinguished service and their contribution to the development of French language and culture. The order was bestowed on them by French Ambassador His Excellency Jean-Michel Despax Tuesday December 2, 2014.
