Restaurants of Jamaica, the local operators of KFC is reporting that its website was hacked by an international group.
KFC Jamaica’s website was down for several hours last Saturday.
During that time visitors to the website were greeted with the message: 'Hacked by Syrian Shadow. This is for freedom of Syria.
The site was hacked a day after a death threat against Sean Paul by a group claiming to be Maldivian Jihadists surfaced on YouTube.

She says the hack did not originate from KFC's international page, and was specific to Jamaica.
It did not disturb operations at the company.

She also says the company is upgrading its security systems in an effort to safeguard the site against any future attacks.
