Suspect in Clarendon Chinese businessman's murder charged

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

The suspect held in connection with the murder of Chinese businessman Jun Peng has been charged.

He is Elroy Hearon a taxi driver of Vere in Clarendon.



Hearon is to appear in court on Thursday.



Twenty-six-year-old, Peng, operated the Micell Anna & Peng Wholesale and Supermarket in Lionel Town and a similar business on Chapelton Road in May Pen.



He was found with his throat slashed.



Peng was reportedly abducted, robbed then killed and his body dumped along the Dawkin Pen main road.
