MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica:

A man of unsound mind is now battling for life after he was hit by a Toyota Corolla, along the Morgan Road section of the Rose Hall main road in Montego Bay this morning.

Eyewitnesses say the man who frequents the stop lights downtown Montego Bay stole money from a businessman in the vicinity of Morgan Road, and was running away when he ended up in the path of the car which was travelling towards Falmouth.

He was thrown in the air and landed in the middle of the busy Rose Hall thoroughfare.

The man received injuries to the back of his head, his thigh and hands. ‎
