$3.8m road patching programme coming for Ocho Rios

The National Works Agency (NWA) says it will be embarking on a $3.8-million patching programme in the town of Ocho Rios, St Ann.



Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw has not announced a date for the start of the programme.



However, he says it will see 1,200 square metres of roadway being patched using Asphaltic Concrete.



Roadways to be patched under the programme include, Development Road, Main Street, Newlyn Street, Evlyn Street, DaCosta Drive and Graham Street.



Shaw says the patching is being done to fix sections of the road which were damaged by recent rains.
