Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after accident with Hawkeye security car

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

A motorcyclist is now in hospital following a crash involving a Hawkeye security car this morning at the intersection of Lockett Avenue and East Street in Kingston.




According to eyewitnesses, the bike was traveling towards downtown Kingston, when it collided minutes after eight, with a Toyota Corolla Axio car belonging to the Hawkeye security company.



The car was reportedly exiting Lockett Avenue.



One of the passengers in the Hawkeye vehicle told The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre that he and others were responding to a call in the area when the incident happened.



The extent of the motorcyclist's injury is unknown.
