Students' Loan Bureau to begin accepting applications February 16

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Starting February 16 members of the public will be able to apply for student loans from the Students' Loan Bureau for the 2015/2016 school year, the Minister of Education, Ronald Thwaites announced today.




Speaking at the COK Sodality Coop Credit Union Blast Off function at the Mona Visitors' Lodge in Kingston, Minister Thwaites spoke on the theme of 'saving for tertiary education', specifically encouraging parents to start saving early for their children's education.



The deadline for loan applications is May 29, 2015.
