Fire scare at Burger King in downtown Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Customers and staff hurriedly evacuated the Burger King on Orange Street in downtown Kingston after they saw smoke coming from air condition vents at the premises this morning.




Workers said it seemed the fire started on the roof.



They said that the smoke quickly engulfed the premises.



No one was hurt.



Police spent much of the morning trying to contain the large gathering outside the establishment.
