Noranda Jamaica Bauxite Partners had kind words, thoughts and a contribution for the 110 residents of the St Ann Infirmary located at Priory, St Ann, when the company sponsored their annual Christmas dinner on Tuesday, December 9.

The dinner, held in partnership with the St Ann Parish Council, saw Noranda making a generous donation of $170,000 to ensure a scrumptious meal, drinks and party support for the senior citizens. Noranda's industrial relations manager, Nathan Thomson, sent a special message of cheer from the company's employees while public relations consultant Lance Neita joined with the Mayor Desmond Gilmore, Deputy Mayor Delroy Redway and representatives from the Human Employment And Resource Training institute, the Discovery Bay United Church, the Priory school, and Jewel Dunn's River to celebrate with the residents. The residents responded with concert carol singing and a fashion show, making it an enjoyable and memorable evening.
