KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Traffic was brought to a crawl this afternoon after a trailer ran into the back of a police service vehicle in the vicinity of J. Wray & Nephew on Spanish Town Road, Kingston.

According to police who were in the car, both vehicles were travelling in the same direction, when the trailer collided with the back of their vehicle as they attempted to turn right.

The rear light and bumper of the service vehicle were damaged.

No-one sustained injuries.

An obviously shaken up trailer driver said he didn't know how the accident happened.

“I have no idea how it happen, but accidents do happen,” stated the driver as he expressed anxiety that he could face sanctions from his employer.
