The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) says Dr Christopher Tufton has indicated he does not intend to use the court ruling to create mischief in the party.

Speaking on Cliff Hughes Online this morning, JLP general secretary Dr Horace Chang said Dr Tufton wants to help to resolve the crisis.

Meanwhile, The Gleaner/Power 106 News Centre understands that Arthur Williams has written to the Senate President advising of his intention to take his seat when the Upper House meets on Friday.

Our news centre also understands that Williams and JLP leader Andrew Holness are scheduled to meet on Thursday to discuss the way forward.
