No option but resignation for Holness, says political historian
Political historian, Troy Caine says the JLP leader Andrew Holness, must resign.
According to Caine, Holness’ position as Opposition Leader has been compromised by his actions, which breached the Constitution.
He also says Holness is now reaping the harvest of his actions following the 2013 leadership election.
According to Caine, Holness was not magnanimous towards challenger, Audley Shaw, and his supporters after his win.
He says this was what led Holness to use the pre-signed, undated resignation letters to remove Arthur Williams and Dr Christopher Tufton from the Senate.
