Caribbean Producers Jamaica treats children
Two hundred children from inner-city communities in downtown Kingston were fed and treated to an afternoon of activities hosted by RESPECT Jamaica on Saturday, January 31. Caribbean Producers Jamaica Limited (CPJ) teamed up with corporate partners to promote RESPECT Jamaica's initiative - empowering the lives of our youth while promoting the value of showing respect for others.
Children, along with their parents, had a private viewing of the musical production, 'Nesta's Rock', which was performed at the University of the West Indies in the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts. The play emphasises the importance of recognising opportunities under challenging situations, as well as encouraging children to never give up on their dreams and aspirations.
CPJ continues to play an active role in improving the welfare of residents in inner -city communities islandwide. This project adds to a growing list of initiatives embodying CPJ's corporate social responsibility. The company remains committed to giving a helping hand towards driving change for a better Jamaica.
