General Secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party, Dr Horace Chang says the JLP will deal with the fall-out from the ruling of the Constitutional Court internally.

Speaking after a successful joint meeting of Parliamentarians and the JLP Standing Committee yesterday Chang said the party would be relying on various mechanisms within the party to manage and solve its problems.

Chang also restated the party’s support for the Opposition Leader Andrew Holness.

According to him, there is no vacancy in the leadership of the JLP.

The JLP General Secretary also cautioned Jamaicans to be wary of self-seeking mischief and urged them to discredit anyone who refuses to abide by transparent and democratic processes.

Chang added that the party must return to defending the interest of Jamaicans and instead of personal goals and aspirations.

Meanwhile, it is understood that the planned meeting between opposition leader Andrew Holness and Senator, Arthur Williams did take place last evening.
