Three injured in MoBay crash

WESTERN BUREAU:

Three persons including a female motorist were rushed to hospital following a vehicular collision at the corner of Dome and Princess Streets, in Montego Bay, this morning.




When The Gleaner arrived on the scene, a large crowd had gathered and the three injured persons had already been taken away to hospital.



Their condition has not yet been ascertained.



According to reports, the incident, which involved a female motorist who was driving a black Toyota Voxy motorcar, occurred approximately 9:45 a.m.



She reportedly ran the red light, as she headed on to Dome Street from Church Street, and hit a woman, and then a man, before slamming into two utility poles.



The man reportedly sustained head injuries, while the female pedestrian sustained broken bones.



The injuries of the female motorist were not ascertained.
