Trelawny prostitution crack down: Police arrest three

Police operations at two nightclubs in Trelawny on Sunday resulted in the arrest of three people with the police seeking a fourth individual.

The police say a 36-year-old St Ann woman has been charged for living off the earnings of prostitution following her arrest at a nightclub in Wire Fence district.

They say the nightclub operator was also arrested and charged for breaches under the Spirit Licence Act.

The nightclub operator has been identified as 24-year-old Carvalho Dixon, who is a businessman and farmer of Albert Town in the parish.

The police say later that same night a second operation at a nightclub in Ulster Spring in the parish a female was arrested and charged for being involved in prostitution.

The operator of that club reportedly fled the scene shortly after the arrival of the lawmen.

He is currently being sought by the Police for questioning.
