Jamaica-born US student-athlete found dead in New York hotel
The New York Police are reporting that Jamaica-born student and athlete Sabrina Cammock was found dead in a Times Square Hotel on Saturday.
Cammock, who hails from Watt Town in St Ann, attended the Bethany Primary School near Alexandria in the parish.
She left Jamaica after completing grade six for the United States.
She attended the Syracuse University where she was studying public health.
A member of a school record-setting 4×100-meter relay team, Cammock also won a Syracuse scholar-athlete of the week award last April.
And she was also named to the 2012-2013 Big East Conference All-Academic Team.
