'Top-tier' Klansman member charged with murder of St Catherine couple
The police say they have charged a top-tier member of the Klansman gang for the January killing of a husband and wife in Kitson Town, St Catherine.
Radcliffe Richards and his wife, Wendy-Ann Byfield-Richards, were murdered at their home in Kingsland district.
The police say the alleged gang member, Horace Swaby, otherwise called ‘Blacks’ or ‘Chucky’, was nabbed on Tuesday at a house in Clarendon.
He was arrested by police personnel from the Counter Terrorism and Organized Crime Branch and the Mobile Reserve.
According to a police statement, intelligence revealed that Swaby was a close associate of the now deceased Michael Morgan, otherwise called ‘Tullus’.
Morgan was on the nation’s most wanted list and was also implicated in the murders.
The police say both men are top tier members of the Klansman Gang, which operates in Spanish Town, St Catherine and its environs.
