Another attempt is to be made today to begin the trial of alleged gang leader Christopher 'Dog Paw' Linton and his co-accused.

Dog Paw, Donald Allen and Yannick Ellis are accused of the 2010 murders of a man, a mother and her son.

Last year, the unavailability of witnesses hindered the case from moving forward.

It is alleged that on December 19, 2010, Linton and his co-accused murdered Marnest Hylton as well as Dania Forbes and her six-year-old Johleme McKay in Bedward Gardens, August Town, St Andrew.

Fire was set to the house in which the three were sleeping.

Linton is currently serving a 15-year prison sentence for shooting at a police team in Tavern, St Andrew in April 2010.
