Man killed in Hanover hit and run, crushed by other vehicles

There’s an appeal for anyone who may have witnessed a hit and run incident in Round Hill in Hopewell, Hanover on Saturday, March 21 to tell the police what they know.

The police say a man, whose identity has not yet been ascertained, was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by a motor car.

The driver did not stop.

And it’s alleged that several other vehicles ran over the body.

The police are pleading with any witnesses to come forward and tell them what they know.

Persons with information may contact the Sandy Bay Police at 953-5312, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.

In addition, the police are also asking anyone who can identify the body to come forward.

The man is believed to be in the late fifties, is of dark complexion and is about five feet eight inches long.
