The Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen, has appointed Rev Jeffrey Mckenzie as Custos Rotulorum for the parish of St Catherine.

McKenzie was sworn-in yesterday morning at King’s House.

His appointment takes effect on April 1.

McKenzie replaces Rev Sophia Azan who has retired after exemplary service as Custos of St Catherine for twelve years.

In welcoming him to the position the Governor General said he expected that McKenzie would do well in his new role.
