Alleged bee thief charged
The Praedial Larceny Prevention Unit has charged a man who is alleged to have stolen 10 boxes of bees in Clarendon.
Havannah Heights resident, Oliver Aldred, was charged with simple larceny when he appeared in the May Pen Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.
He pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property with explanation.
According to Aldred, he bought the bees but wasn't issued a receipt.
He has been granted bail in the sum of $500,000 dollars with conditions.
He is to report to the May Pen Police on Mondays and Fridays.
The stolen property is to be returned to the owner.
