The Government will next week sign a concession agreement as it moves to divest the Kingston Container Terminal (KCT).

The deal is between the Port Authority of Jamaica and the Terminal Link Consortium.

It's for a long-term concessionaire to finance, expand, operate, maintain and transfer the Kingston Container Terminal.

The signing ceremony is slated for next week Tuesday at 10:30 in the morning at the Ministry of Transport.

However, the Opposition spokesman on Transport, Mike Henry, says he will not attend because the Government has failed to respond to his questions about the impending divestment.
