A 24-year-old motorcyclist became the latest person killed on the nation’s roadways.

He is Richard Brown, a vendor from May Pen in Clarendon, who died in a collision along the Bustamante Highway in the parish.

Brown is the 90th person killed in motor vehicle crashes since the start of the year.

It’s reported that he was returning from a party in Old Harbour when he attempted to overtake a car and collided head on with another vehicle.

Eyewitnesses say Brown sustained multiple injuries.

He later died while undergoing treatment at the May Pen Hospital.

The driver of the motorcar involved in the accident claims the motorcycle had no headlights.
