NWC issues closure notice for Obama visit

The National Water Commission (NWC) will be closing some of its offices in the corporate area to facilitate security arrangements for the visit of United States president Barack Obama.

The NWC says its Oxford Road offices will close at 3 p.m. today and will re-open at noon tomorrow.

On Thursday, its Marescaux Road Complex, including its customer care office, will be closed to the public and staff at 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.

Customers needing to make payments to the commission are encouraged to utilise any of the authorised bill payment locations:

· National Commercial Bank (NCB)

· Prime Trust Financial Corporation Cambio

· Alliance Financial Services

Customers may also pay their bills via telephone using either TeleMidas or TeleScotia as well as online payment options at: www.scotiabank.com.jm, www.jncb.com, www.billexpressonline.com or www.paymaster-online.com.
