Tourism minister to kick off Sectoral Debate
Dr Wykeham McNeil, Minister of Tourism and Entertainment, will open the new look Sectoral Debate in the House of Representatives.
Unlike in previous years when it was open to all Members of Parliament, this year's debate will be restricted to Cabinet ministers and their Opposition spokespersons.
Each minister will speak on a specific theme for 45 minutes while each Opposition spokesperson will be given 30 minutes.
Ministers may be granted an extension of five minutes.
However, this will be done at the discretion of the Speaker.
In addition to Dr McNeil, other speakers scheduled to make presentations today are opposition spokesperson on tourism, Shahine Robinson, Industry, Investment and Commerce Minister, Anthony Hylton and his opposition counterpart, Karl Samuda.
