Five entities shortlisted to bid for Norman Manley Airport
The Transport and Works Minister, Dr Omar Davies, says the Government has shortlisted five potential bidders for the divestment of the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.
Making his contribution to the Sectoral Debates in Parliament this afternoon, Davies said the entities comprise one European, one Asian and one South American company.
He said the other two consortiums involve Jamaican partners.
According to Davies, the bid for the divestment of the airport will be put to tender in June and its is expected that the divestment will be completed in early 2016.
