Seprod injects $12m into Inter-Primary School Athletics Championship

Seprod has decided to pump $12 million into sponsorship of the 2015 Inter-Primary School Athletics Championship.

The company illustrated its commitment at today's Press launch of the annual event by presenting the cheque to the Institute of Sports (INSPORTS).

Seprod also announced rewards to the champion boy and champion girl of $100,000 each in academic support.

Seprod, through its Monster Milk and Butterkist brands in partnership with INSPORTS, will oversee the April 29 to Saturday May 2 Championship that takes place at the National Stadium.

Ninety-three schools and 4,000 athletes will be participating.

"Our support doesn't end there; 4,000 athletes will receive Seprod packages of Butterkist biscuits, Monster Milk, exercise books and pencils", said Roger Thompson, group marketing manager of Seprod.

He disclosed that Seprod will also, in conjunction with its partner
distributors Facey Commodity, provide nutritional support for all 4,000 athletes and school staff for four days of healthy competition.

Thompson noted that Seprod is pushing its 'Champs Combo' available in wholesales whereby, up to May 30, any member of the public can purchase any three of four Monster Milk flavours and get a 55g Butterkist cookie for free.

"This is just our way of saying a sincere thank you to all engaged in
making this event a great one.

It requires a tremendous amount of work and a tremendous amount of coordination," said Thompson.
