On Saturday, April 18, the Global Shapers Kingston Hub held its second #HashtagLunchbag sandwich drive. Hosted by Kaci Fennell, Ms Jamaica Universe 2014, and Shea Stewart, bachelor chef, the charitable initiative was held in ATL's VW Showroom, Oxford Road, St Andrew. CB Chicken and Caribbean Passion provided meat for the sandwiches, while other sponsors provided juices, water and fruit and sandwich packs.

This year, the volunteers packaged more than 1,700 sandwiches for persons in need, surpassing their goal of 1,500. Sandwiches were distribution at Jamaica Christian Boys' Home, Glenhope Nursery, Mary's Child, My Father's House, Marie Atkins Shelter, Missionaries of the Poor, Matthew 25:40, Golden Age Home and Open Arms Drop In Centre.
