The members of the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry are now in West Kingston touring several communities.

Commission Chairman Sir David Simmons was flocked by residents, some of whom hugged and kissed him as he got out of his car.

Some of the residents also broke out in song, singing "To God be the glory."

Simmons sought to explain the purpose of his visit to garner further information about the location where there was a police-military operation in 2010.

He also asked to be shown the crater that was made when an explosive went off in Tivoli Gardens during the West Kingston operation.

There was heavy security as Simmons was led from one place to another.

However, the residents of West Kingston sought to assure that they would not hurt him.

They said they only wanted to guide him on the tour, as they did not trust the police.
