Williamsfield residents set house on fire following discovery of dead teen

Upset residents of Williamsfield district in St Catherine today set a house on fire as they sought answers for the death of 12-year-old Jameila  Johnson.

Johnson’s decomposing body was found in bushes by passersby today.

Following the discovery, three members of a family were taken in by the police for questioning.

Johnson was found three days after she went missing.

It is reported that on Tuesday night she went to use an outside bathroom and never returned indoors.

Meanwhile, the Spanish Town, are keeping a watch on the March Pen Community following a separate protest today.

The residents used old refrigerators and other debris to block sections of March Pen and Burke roads over last night's shooting of a 16-year-old girl during an alleged police shoot out with gunmen.

The teen remains in hospital.

It is reported that about 9:30 last night the 16-year-old girl went to use an outside bathroom and while returning indoors she was shot and injured.
